2025 Fall Classes
At First Tee Southeast Wisconsin, we’re Building Game Changers by empowering kids and teens to build the strength of character that empowers them through a lifetime of new challenges.
By seamlessly integrating the game of golf with character-building experiences, we create active learning opportunities that help kids develop inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience they can carry to everything they do.
About Lake Park Golf Course
Located in the heart of Milwaukee, Lake Park Golf Course offers a welcoming and accessible environment for young golfers to learn and grow. This public course provides the perfect setting for our programs, featuring practice areas and a supportive atmosphere where kids feel excited to learn, safe to fail, and better equipped for whatever comes their way next.
Our Program Experience
Our trained coaches create a fun, safe, and empowering environment where participants engage with golf fundamentals while building life skills that extend far beyond the course. Through our age-appropriate curriculum, kids learn to:
- Understand and manage emotions
- Set and pursue goals
- Resolve conflicts and collaborate with others
- Build positive self-identity and use good judgment
- Develop golf fundamentals and techniques
Program Structure
Participants progress through our program based on age groups, with each session designed to accommodate both new and returning golfers. As kids “age up,” lessons are adjusted to challenge players at their skill level while focusing on character development appropriate for their stage of growth.
