2024 Summer Classes
The Wauwatosa Recreation Department is partnering up with First Tee — Southeast Wisconsin to create a great and fun junior golf program. This 6-week program covers all aspects of the golf game including learning proper rules and etiquette as well as the fundamentals of the swing, chipping, and putting. Juniors will receive a discount card for the parks golf courses, a gift for participating, golf balls, and tees. The final session will consist of a fun and exciting golf outing with the juniors and any parents who wish to participate. Clubs are provided for juniors who need them. The goal of First Tee and this program is to promote life-enhancing values, educate kids on healthy choices, and build character through the game of golf. Golf is a game of a lifetime, so lets start now.
Classes will not meet on July 4. The third and last class on June 25 and July 23 will be held at Hansen Park Golf Course.
