Financial Aid Overview
No young person will ever be turned away from First Tee — Southeast Wisconsin for financial reasons. We offer financial aid for all of our youth golf programs in the Milwaukee and Southeast Wisconsin area, including after-school sessions, summer programs, and weekend clinics for kids ages 4 to 18. If cost is a concern, we encourage your family to apply. Affordable junior golf programming is at the heart of what we do, and we are committed to making sure every child in our community has access.
How to Apply
Financial aid is requested during the online registration process. When you reach the checkout screen, follow these steps:
- When asked “Would you like to apply for financial aid?”, select Yes.
- Answer the financial aid questions and click Confirm.
- Click Submit Financial Aid Request to complete your application.
All three steps are required. Clicking Confirm alone does not submit your application. Once submitted, your participant’s spot in the session will be held while our team reviews your request.
What to Expect After You Apply
You will receive an email confirmation that your application has been submitted. Our team will review all requests within 3 to 5 business days. Once a decision has been made, you will receive an email notification with the outcome. If financial aid is awarded and a remaining balance exists, you will have 48 hours to complete registration and secure your participant’s spot.
Troubleshooting
If you believe you submitted a financial aid application but have not received a confirmation email, your application may not have gone through. The two most common reasons are:
- One or more sections of the checkout screen were not fully completed. All sections must show a green checkmark before the application can be submitted.
- The Submit Financial Aid Request button was not clicked after answering the financial aid questions. Clicking Confirm alone does not submit the application.
